With July 11th quickly approaching it means that the iPhone is quickly approaching too. Rogers sucks. They haven’t gone unnoticed, either. Apple stores (in Canada) are even going so far as to boycott selling their own iPhone product because the cell phone plan is so stupid. I can’t blame them: 150 minutes, 75 texts, and 400mb of data is nothing! And that’s 60 a month! And that’s for a three year contract! My suggestion is to save your money. I love everything about the iPhone… but Rogers is just trying to capitalize on its awesomeness in a way that’s unfair to their customers.
Moving on.
Google! They’ve released a cool new feature for gmail which tells you where and when you’ve signed into your inbox. Pretty nifty. But, they’ve also come up with a 3D social environment called Lively. I don’t really know why yet… I’m still trying to figure out where the money is in this — but you just know that Second Life is scared. And so is PS3’s Home. And so is every 3D MMO environment in the history of the world.
Speaking of PS3 — the 40GB SKU is getting an upgrade. I say upgrade rather than replaced (despite what WalMart says) because it’s obvious that the sixaxis is dead and rumble is the king. DualShock please.
Speaking of “Wal”s — Wall-E is amazing. Go see it. Failing that, go see this fountain, which is almost as cool.
Some other random links: more on the Milgram experiment. Mosquitoes are jerks and like bad breath. And pre-order Fable 2.
Thanks for the post
